Apple Cake by Shireen Anwar Ingredients: Butter – 150g Sugar – 150g Flour – 75g Corn flour – 50g Baking powder – 2 tsp Eggs – 3 Lemon juice – 2 tbsp Apple peeled and grated – 3 (soak in salted water) Butter melted – 1 tbsp Flaked almond – 2 ounce Sugar – 2 tbsp
Method: Sieve flour, corn flour and baking powder. Take a bowl, beat butter along with sugar until it’s creamy, then add eggs one by one and a little of the flour mixture and beat. Then add remaining flour and beat for 2 seconds. Drain apple and mix 2 tbsp lemon juice and add in cake mixture. Pour this mixture in cake pan. On top, apply melted butter with butter, sprinkle flaked almond and sugar. Bake in preheated oven on 185 to 190 degree for 35 to 40 minutes.
