You can find plenty of dishes for adults everywhere, but it can become a problem when you can’t find good babies food recipes for your kids. So here are some healthy and simple ideas for infants that you can try.

Kichri:

Ingredients:

  1. Rice – 30gm
  2. Lentil – 60gm
  3. Oil – 1 1/2 tsp
  4. Salt – to taste

Method:

  • Wash lentil, then in a pan, add rice, lentil and salt, cook well.
  • Now add oil in this kichri and cook until tender. Cook extra for young kids.

Rice pudding:

Ingredients:

  1. Rice – 30gm
  2. Milk – 125ml
  3. Sugar – 1 1/2 tsp

Method:

  • Clean and wash rice, then add enough water and boil until well tender.
  • Then mash them and add milk and sugar, mixture looks like cream.

Cereal

Ingredients:

  1. Milk – 125ml
  2. Sugar – 1 1/2 tsp
  3. Salt – to taste
  4. Oil – 1 1/2 tsp
  5. Water – 180ml
  6. Cereal – 30gm

Method:

  • Fry cereal in ghee or oil until it becomes light brown, then add salt and boiling hot water, mix and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Take off of the flame and add milk and sugar.
  • Cereal is ready.

Milk and potato

Ingredients:

  1. Potato – 30gm
  2. Milk – 125ml
  3. Water – 250ml
  4. Sugar – 1 1/2 tsp

Method:

  • Boil potato, peel and mashed. Then add sugar and milk, mix well.
  • This is good for 8 month old kids.

Banana pudding

Ingredients:

  1. Banana – 1
  2. Milk – 125ml
  3. Sugar – 1 1/2 tsp

Method:

Peel and mash banana in a bowl with spoon, now add milk and sugar, mix and serve.

Egg custard

Ingredients:

  1. Egg – 1
  2. Milk – 180ml
  3. Sugar – 3 tsp

Method:

  • Beat egg, then add milk and sugar, mix well.
  • Cook on low heat until done.

Ingredients:

  1. Egg – 1
  2. Milk – 180ml
  3. Sugar – 1 1/2 tsp

Method:

Beat egg, then add boiled milk and sugar, serve
