Banana Chikoo Shake
Chikoo fruit also known as sapodilla. The chickoo has an exceptionally sweet, malty flavor. The unripe fruit is hard to the touch and contains high amounts of saponin, which has astringent properties similar to tannin, drying out the mouth. Chikoo fruit is high in fiber content, it makes the chickoo very good for digestion. It is also used in the treatment of constipation and prevent the occurrence of colon cancer. Try this tasty and delicious banana chikoo shake in summer and enjoy the benefits.
Ingredients:
- Milk – 2 litres
- Ice cubes – 12
- Bananas – 6
- Cheekoo (sapodilla) – 6
- Sugar – 4 tbsp
- Almond – 2 tbsp
- Pistachio – 2 tbsp
Method:
- Cook milk until thick and let it cool down.
- Put all ingredients in blender and blend well.
- If you feel it’s a bit thick, then add ¼ cup of water and mix it well and serve.
