Let’s talk about some saving tips. A middle-class woman, whether she’s a sister, a wife, a mother, a daughter-in-law or a mother-in-law, if she is given the entire responsibility of running the house, then in this age of expenses, she continuously struggles with the budget, but because expenses increase day-by-day, her struggles are sometimes in vain. She fulfills one necessity, but another is instantly needed, and by the end of the month, it’s hard to get by. When wages arrive at the beginning of a new month, kids’ and families’ demands and requests for expensive dishes start pouring in as well. This is why, by the end of the month, the woman running the house usually doesn’t have much money left, and she becomes really stressed and worried.

The best thing to do in this case is to use your money in a sensible style, so you can spend the entire month peacefully. Below are some tips for you, and by using these, you will be able to survive the last week of each month.

If last night’s chapattis and curry are left, you can save egg and bread money in the morning. Chapattis and curry with fresh tea is yummy, and you also won’t feel hungry at lunchtime.
Remaining oil from pakoray and fries can be used for morning parathas or in bighar for daal.
If tomatoes are expensive, then use yogurt in cooking.
Instead of throwing away old clothes, wash them properly and use for washing dishes, dusting or tea towels.
Most of the time, the middle part of a bed sheets becomes worn, so you can cut the middle part and sew it back together to make a stronger bed sheet, or you can even make curtains with the sheet.
Instead of sending your kids to tuition, teach them at home yourself and save tuition fee.
Most of the time, headache, flu and fever medications are leftover, so write what it’s for on it and store them in the fridge. If, God forbid, someone has these problems again, by looking at the expiry date and with the doctor’s advice, you can use that medicine again.
For any special festival, take a little bit of money from each month’s salary to create a committee or put them in a saving account. This way, you can easily do any shopping for these festivals without disturbing your household budget.

A Very Personal Space for Working at Home

Would you like to have a personal space at home to devote to your hobbies? To sew, DIY, for the computer, for drawing…Take note, it’s easy.

1 – Draw, paint and play

Create in your kids’ bedroom a mini area so they can do their homework, play and show their artistic skills by drawing. And so they can access the shelves, you can add a ladder. You can also attach a paper roll with a string tied to two dog hooks.

Decorate with fun adhesive stickers:

Let your kids have fun surrounded by dinosaurs through these adhesive stickers. They will think they are in a Jurassic Park! And to complete, citrus colored chair, as well as all kinds of accessories and a small hose clamp lamp.

2 – Needlework

If you like sewing and need your accessories sorted and at hand, you can simply place on a face cloth or, if you prefer, wallpaper, two flown lacquered shelves and a board as a table. And, of course, you cannot forget a drawer, and a swivel chair with adjustable height.

A scrap of pink flowers:

To give it a feminine and romantic touch, you can cover the front wall with a striking pink fabric. On the shelves, books and details give way to the trimmings, threads, ribbons, zippers, buttons …, yes, all in boxes, cans and in the drawers. You can also add a white plastic bin.

3 – A workroom

If you love crafts or mechanics, working this corner is perfect and requires little space. To create it, we have installed on the wall two long parallel rails with supports for holding a wooden shelf and flown worktop. And as a seat, a high chair stool painted white.

Personal stickers

To decorate the front of the wall we made some stickers silhouetting a hammer and a wrench on black AIRONFIX. On the shelf, you can place a clock and small pots of zinc, and a metal globe.

4 – Internet

This original nook is perfect for those who always want to be connected to the internet and currently informed. On the wall, you can put two shelves and a blown white board to the computer. On the palette of gray and white color accents highlight the accessories in and we added a fuchsia chair.

It’s an easy way to create some intellectual environment: you only need to cover that part of the wall with pages of newspapers.

It ended the price war between supermarkets; most major retailers of food increased their prices ending nearly three years of continuous declines.

What is certain is that with the recent increase in prices, these savings will be less. Therefore, to prevent the basket we make a hole in the family economy, despite how tempting it is to meet our food needs in one trip to the ‘super’.

1, – The prepared foods

The prepared meals are very comfortable in a society like the present that does not break. However, these menus ‘warm and ready’ are usually considerably more expensive than home cooking. In most cases, these recipes will get us over 15 minutes and we will save between 20% and 30%.

2. – Bottled water

Bottled water is a luxury product. Tap water, tap water is the best choice, good quality and cheaper. Furthermore, it is up to 10 times cheaper, not to mention the ecological benefits that entails without plastic packaging.

3. – The sauces

It might help you save some time. However, they will pay for three to five times what it would cost you to do the same recipe the traditional way. Sauté some garlic, a little onion and season with a pinch of oregano ends up being cheaper and healthier to rely on industrial sauces full of additives, as well as save you a small fortune in the long term.

4. – Small Appliances

The big supermarket shelves are filled more and more of toasters, blenders, juicers and other household gadgets. However, there are almost never the cheapest options. There is probably a cheaper alternative in specialized stores. Extensions lead or buy light bulbs at the store where you buy bread and milk is not a good idea, at least from the standpoint of saving.

5. – Bagged salads

You can apply the same criteria with sauces. The salads in bags save time, but are more expensive and less durable in the fridge. For the price of a packet of lettuce cut and we can buy even two fresh, which besides being cheaper, experts consider it healthier by avoiding chemicals that are applied to bagged salads to keep them fresh in supermarkets.

How to Prevent Insects in Flour and Maida

Ramazan has finished. In a lot of houses, there may be flour and gram flour left over. If they’re not stored properly, insects can appear in them due to monsoon. To preserve the flour and gram flour, you can put bay leaves in their containers.

To keep these things dry and fresh, you can insert blotting paper into the containers, as well. If you use damp flour, your cake won’t bake well, so flour should always be dry and soft.

For Eid-ul-Adha every body is planning for mutton dishes, but most of the people don’t like the smell of mutton. Get rid of this typical smell, take wheat bran and apply on mutton pieces (take big size of pieces) and leave for 2 hours. Then wash well and cut in small sizes and freeze or cook. Now those people, who don’t like the smell of mutton, will love mutton dishes on Eid.

How to Clean Glass Bottles

At home we use lots of glass bottles for loads of things, after a while, the bottles become dirty. In the summer, these bottles are filled with drinks in the fridge, if these bottles aren’t clean, they don’t look very nice. To clean them, here are some tips:
1.   Mix water, washing powder and egg shells (pieced) in the bottle, close it with the lid and shake it, then wash it with water. It will start shining like a bright star.
2.   Mix salt and soda in the bottle, and leave it for at least one hour, then wash it with water.
3.   Mix vinegar and salt in the bottle, and shake. Then wash it with water.

How to get rid of thermos flask smell:
Put ½ cup of vinegar in flask and leave for few hours, then wash with cold water.

For nice golden fried onion:
Cut onions and soak in milk for 15 minutes. Then drain and fry in oil, you will get beautiful golden brown onions.

To protect red chilli powder:
Apply peanut oil in jar then put red chilli powder.

If you forgot chickpeas to soaked last night, and would like to cook today. Then fry chickpeas without oil and then cook in pressure cooker.

The Mood of Blue and White Rooms
One piece of caution I have for you regarding decorating in blue and white is to be careful not to overdo the blue. Blue is known for being a calming, soothing, relaxing colour, and it will automatically do exactly that to the atmosphere of the room you bring it into! Therefore, blue is best for bedrooms and bathrooms, where the atmosphere should be tranquil and peaceful. Choose your color and placing of the colour wisely. Too saturated of a blue can seem so low-key that it can actually feel depressing or saddening (hence the musical genre: “the Blues”).

Too dark or too much of blue will make a room frigid or icy, dark or dim. Blue is on the “cool” side of the colour wheel, along with green and purple, so it is best in rooms that are naturally warm, sunny, and cheerful. Shades of turquoise blue or sea blue are wonderful because they have a bit of yellow added to their blue, and yellow is a warm colour. With lighter colours of blue I like a creamier white instead of shocking snow-white because this also “warms” up the colour tone of the room.

White is known for purity, cleanliness, innocence, health, sanitation, and sterilization. For this reason, white is great in bathrooms, laundry rooms, and craft rooms! Add a bit of navy blue to your white and you’ll get an atmosphere that is pure, refreshing, and soothing.
