Cranberry Walnut Cream Cheese Muffins

Cranberry walnut cream cheese muffins are a delicious twist on your tradition muffins, especially because the cream cheese that is added into the mixture makes your muffins extra soft and moist to eat.

Servings – 12


  1. Softened butter – 1/2 cup
  2. Cream cheese, softened – 1/2 package (4 ounces)
  3. Sugar – 3/4 cup
  4. Eggs – 2
  5. Vanilla extract – 3/4 tsp
  6. All-purpose flour – 1 cup
  7. Baking powder – 3/4 tsp
  8. Salt – 1/4 tsp
  9. Fresh or frozen cranberries – 1 cup
  10. Chopped walnuts – 1/4 cup


  1. Confectioners’ sugar – 1 cup
  2. Milk – 1 1/2 tbsp


  • Strain flour, salt and baking powder, set aside
  • Take a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Then add ceam cheese and beat for 5 seconds.
  • Then add eggs, one at a time along and beat well with vanilla extract.
  • Now add flour mixture and fold with light hands.
  • Then add cranberries and walnuts.
  • Pour this mixture in greased muffin cups or tray and bake in preheated oven on 180º C for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Let them cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
  • Now mix confectioners’ sugar and milk and drizzle over muffins.
