Crispy Fried Chicken Burger
Fried chicken is one of the most well-liked recipes for my kids. Thats why I am always trying to find better and better recipes for them. This weekend I tried this crispy fried chicken burger and it turned out so perfect and better than restaurant bought burgers. I want you to try this homemade chicken burger and enjoy a healthy and clean meal at home.
Crispy Fried Chicken Burger
Original KFC Buffalo Ranch Big Filler: English – Urdu Recipe
Boneless chicken thigh – 1 1/2 kg
Wet Batter Mix:
- Milk – 1 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice – 1 1/2 tbsp
- Dried oregano – 1/2 tsp
- Dried rosemary – 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder – 3 tsp
- Salt – 3 tsp or to taste
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- Eggs – 2
Method:
- Make tiny cuts on chicken thigh pieces all over with the sharp tip of the knife.
- Then cut slices according to your need and pounder them.
- Now in a bowl, add milk and lemon juice, leave it for 5 to 7 minutes until it curdles (buttermilk is ready).
- Now add oregano, rosemary, red chili powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and eggs, whisk it well.
- Add chicken pieces in this buttermilk mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours or leave it overnight.

Dry Batter Mix:
- Plain flour – 1 1/2 cup
- Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Garlic powder – 1 tsp
- Onion powder – 1 tsp
- Oregano – 1 tsp
- Baking powder – 2 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Stir everything and set aside. Take it out chicken 30 minutes before frying.
Cooking and Preparation Method:
- Now out the chicken pieces from buttermilk mixture and roll them in dry mixture.
- Shake off the excess flour, repeat the process twice and deep fry in medium hot oil for 4 to 5 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Now take bun, apply butter and heat them up on skillet.
- Apply alioli or any kind of sauce, then crispy chicken, tomato, lettuce, cheese and serve with fries.
