Dark circles are dark blemishes around the eyes. There are many symptoms of this cause, such as Allergies, asthma, lack of nutrients in the diet, lack of a balanced diet, can contribute to the discoloration of the area under the eyes, but there are also plenty of dark circle remedies. It is believed that a lack of mineral iron can cause dark circles as well. Iron deficiency is the most common type of anemia and this condition is a sign that not enough oxygen is getting to the body tissues.
The skin can also become more pale during pregnancy and menstruation (due to lack of iron), allowing the underlying veins under the eyes to become more visible.
Dark Circle Remedies
- Mix 2 tbsp of dry and crushed mango skin, 2 tbsp of fresh milk and 1 pinch of turmeric powder, make a paste. Apply twice a day over dark circles, leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Then gradually massage with ubtan and rinse.
- Mix 1 tbsp of tomato juice, 1 pinch of turmeric powder, 1/2 tbsp of lemon juice in a little bit of gram flour. Apply everyday on dark circles, leave for 10 minutes, then wash it off.
- Apply mixture of tomato juice and lemon juice everyday over dark circles. It will give you cooling affect as well.
Take everyday 1 glass of tomato juice along with lemon juice, mint leaves and salt. This will help to reduce your dark circles. Try to have 6 to 8 hours sleep and do regular exercise.
