Easy Cake Rusk Recipe


  1. Flour – 4 ounce or 1 cup
  2. Eggs – 3
  3. Sugar – 100 gm
  4. Butter – 100 gm
  5. Baking powder – 1 tsp
  6. Vanilla essence or lemon essence – 1 tsp
  7. Yellow food colour – few drops
  8. Milk – as required


  • Take a bowl and put sugar and butter and beat until creamy.
  • Strain baking powder and flour.
  • Now add eggs one by one with 1 tbsp dry mixture and beat well.
  • Then put remaining dry mixture, vanilla essence or lemon essence and yellow colour, mix well.
  • Check consistency of mixture and add milk. Now put this mixture in 6 inch square cake pan and bake in preheated oven on180ºC for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Then take it out from the oven and let it cool down for about 5 min, then cut in slices and again bake until crispy and golden brown on 150ºC  for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Now enjoy Cake Rusk with tea.
