Gingersnaps Cookies

Ingredients:
Butter – 100 gm
Light brown sugar – 100gm
Golden syrup or honey – 100gm
Plain flour – 225gm
Soda bicarbonate – 1 tsp
Ground ginger or ginger powder – 1 tsp
Equipment:
1 bowl
1 saucepan
2 spoons
1 teaspoon
1 butter knife
Method:
1- Put flour, soda and ginger into the bowl and mix it.
2- Then put butter, sugar and syrup into the saucepan.
3- Put the saucepan on low heat, until the butter melts, keep stirring it.
4- After the butter has melted, take it off the heat and let it cool a little. Then stir it until only a brown liquid is left.
5- Pour the flour mixture, into the saucepan while stirring. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes hard dough. Then put foil on to a plate.
6- Take small amounts of dough with a spoon, and scrape it of with another spoon onto the plate. Wait for a few minutes, and then shape the pieces of dough into balls.
7- Put them in to the preheated oven at 180ºC for 10 minutes.
8- Enjoy your Swiss Gingersnaps cookies with Tea!
