How to Make Chana Daal Gosht in Urdu – English

Chana Daal Gosht

Ingredients:

  1. Mutton – ½ kg
  2. Boiled chana daal – 1 cup
  3. Oil – ½ cup
  4. Ground fried brown onion – 2
  5. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  6. Sugar – 1 tsp
  7. Yogurt – ½ cup
  8. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  9. Red chili powder – 2 tsp
  10. Blended tomato – 2
  11. Green chilies – 4
  12. Salt – to taste
  13. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  14. Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp

Method:

Add oil in a pan, fry mutton until light brown along with ginger garlic paste. Then add turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt, fry well. Now add fried onion and tomato, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Then add yogurt and cook until mutton is tender. Now add garam masala powder, sugar and boiled daal, cook for 10 more minutes. Then add green chili, fresh coriander and ginger, cook on dum for 2 to 3 minutes. Chana daal gosht is ready to serve with chapattis.
