How to Make Chicken Korma Biryani: English – Urdu Recipe

Chicken Korma Biryani

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – 1 kg
  2. Oil -3/4 cups
  3. Boiled rice – 1 kg
  4. Yogurt – 250 gm
  5. Salt – 1 1/2 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  7. Red chili powder – 3 tsp
  8. Onion – 1 big
  9. Corinader powder – 2 tsp
  10. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  11. Green cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
  12. Nutmeg powder – 1/4 tsp
  13. Mace powder – 1/4 tsp
  14. Kewra water – 1 tsp
  15. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  16. Whole garam masala – 1 tbsp
  17. Orange food color – 1 pinch

Method:

  • Take a pan, add oil and whole garma masala, fry for 1 minutes and add onion and fry until golden brown.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste, fry for 1 minute and add yogurt, chicken, salt, turmeric powder, red chili and corinader powder, mix and cover.
  • Let it cook until chicken is tender.
  • Then add green cardamom powder, mace, nutmeg powder and garam masala powder, mix and fry well.
  • Now take another pan, add 1 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp of water in the bottom of pan and spread half boiled rice, then cooked chicken korma, then remaining rice, 1 tbsp of oil, kewra and food color, cover and put on dum for 15 minutes. Korma biryani is ready. Serve with salad and raita.
