How to Make Chicken Mayo Roll

Yummy chicken mayo roll can be served as it is or with salad and it’s ideal for kids’ lunch or you can prepare it for a picnic.

Ingredients for dough: 

  1. Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
  2. Plain flour – 2 cups
  3. Salt – 1/2 tsp
  4. Ghee – 1 tbsp

Method:

Mix everything and make dough. Leave for 30 minutes. Make small sized chapattis and cook them with ghee or oil like paratha.

Ingredients for Filling:

  1. Chicken boneless – ½ kg
  2. Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  3. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  4. Fried crushed cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  5. Fried crushed dry coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
  6. Red chilli powder – 1 ½ tsp
  7. Salt – 1 tsp
  8. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  9. Yogurt – 2 tbsp
  10. Oil – 2 tbsp
  11. Charcoal – 1
  12. Onion and mint leaves – as required

Method:

In a bowl, add yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala powder, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, red chili powder, and ginger garlic paste. Mix and marinate chicken pieces for 10 – 15 minutes. Now take a pan and cook the chicken with oil, or grill it. When it’s done, give it charcoal smoke.
 Take the chapattis and first add mayo sauce, then chicken pieces. On top, place onion and mint leaves, and make a roll. Wrap it in butter paper, and serve.

Mayo sauce

Ingredients:

  1. Mayonnaise – ¾ cup
  2. White vinegar – 2 tbsp
  3. Cream – 4 tbsp
Mix mayonnaise, vinegar and cream in a bowl. Mayo sauce is ready to use.
