How to Make Crispy Onion Rings in Urdu – English

Crispy Onion Rings
Ingredients:

  1. Onions – 2 medium
  2. Salt – to taste
  3. Corn flour – 2 tbsp
  4. Ground white pepper – 2 tsp
  5. Flour – ¾ cup
  6. Baking powder – 1 tsp
  7. Egg yolks – 2
  8. Chilled water – as required
  9. Bread crumbs – as required
  10. Oil – for frying.

Method:

In a bowl beat the egg yolks slightly, add the flour, salt, baking powder, corn flour and pepper.  Whisk to form a smooth batter is formed with the help of chilled water. Put it in the fridge for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the onion into thin rings (1/2 cm approx.). We spread each ring into the batter and drain them a bit and then roll in dry flour, then roll in bread crumbs and put to fry in hot oil until brown. Remove the fried onion rings and place on paper towels before serving.
