Baked Seekh Kebabs

You tried lots of kebab recipes, BBQ, grilled, fried and baked, but this baked seekh kebabs recipe is really yummy and rich in flavor. Do try at home and let me know what you think. It´s best for Eid or any other occasion.

Ingredients:

  1. Mince – 300gm
  2. Fresh coriander – ¼ bunch
  3. Mint – ¼ bunch
  4. Lemon juice – 1 ½ tbsp
  5. Cashew nut – 25gm
  6. Green chilies – 5
  7. Onion – 1 medium size
  8. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  9. Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  10. Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
  11. Tomato puree – 1 tbsp
  12. Egg yolk – 1
  13. Red food color – ¼ tsp
  14. Black pepper – 1 tsp
  15. Poppy seeds – 1 tsp
  16. White sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
  17. Carom seeds – 1 tsp
  18. Salt – to taste
  19. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  20. Fried gram flour – 2 tbsp
  21. Garlic cloves – 5

Method:

  • Add gram flour and mince in chopper and chop well.
  • Then take a blender, add onion, green chili, garlic, fresh coriander, mint, lemon juice, cashew nuts and a little bit of water; make smooth paste.
  • Now take a bowl, add mince, half quantity of green paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, tomato puree, egg yolk, red color, black pepper, ground poppy seeds, sesame seeds, salt, carom seeds and garam masala powder, mix with hands.
  • Leave for half an hour.
  • Then skew on skewers and bake on 180ºC preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • Also spread remaining green paste around the kebabs while cooking.
  • Serve these yummy kebabs with any kind of sauce.
