How to Make Easy Pav Bhaji: English – Urdu Recipe

How to Make Easy Pav Bhaji

Pav bhaji is a Maharashtrian spicy dish that originated in Mumbai cuisine. Pav Bhaji varies greatly as it is essentially a fast food dish to be prepared quickly.

Ingredients:

  1. Boiled cauliflower – 1 cup
  2. Boiled potato – 2
  3. Carrots – 2 boiled
  4. Onion – 1 chopped
  5. Oil – ¼ cup
  6. Tomato – 2 chopped
  7. Fresh coriander – ¼ bunch
  8. Green chilli – 3
  9. Salt – to taste

Ingredients for Pav bhaji masala:

  1. Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
  2. Cloves – 4 to 5
  3. Fried cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  4. Fenugreek seeds – 2 pinches
  5. Cumin powder – ¾ tsp
  6. Coriander powder – ¾ tsp
  7. Whole black pepper – 5 to 6
  8. Garlic powder – ½ tsp
Mix all pav bhaji masala and grind.

Method:

Take a skillet, pour oil and sauté onion, then add pav bhaji masala and tomato, fry and add 1 tbsp of water, cover and cook until tomato softens. Then add vegetables and fry well. Cover and cook on dum for 5 minutes. When it’s done, garnish with fresh coriander, green chilli and butter. Serve with pav buns and enjoy.
