How to Make Kachay Qeemay Kay Nargisi Kofte, English – Urdu Recipe

Kachay Qeemay Kay Nargisi Kofte

Ingredients for kofte:

  1. Lamb mince – ½ kg
  2. Onion – 1
  3. Fried brown onion – 1
  4. Salt – 1 tsp
  5. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  6. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  7. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  8. Poppy seeds – 2 tbsp
  9. Roasted chickpea – 4 tbsp
  10. Almond – 12
  11. Coconut – 1 tbsp
  12. Boiled eggs – 8

Method:

Roasted chickpea, coconut, poppy seeds and almond. Now add onion in chopper and grind, then add mince, fried onion, salt, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder, red chilli powder and ground masala, chop well like until it’s a soft mixture. Then take out the mince mixture, and cover each boiled egg and give them ball shape.

Ingredients for Gravy:

  1. Ground onion – 1
  2. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  3. Salt – to taste
  4. Yogurt – 250g
  5. Fried brown onion – 2 tbsp
  6. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  7. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  8. Fried ground cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  10. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp

Method:

Add salt, fried onion, red chilli powder, coriander powder, ground cumin seeds and turmeric powder and garam masala in yogurt, mix well. Now take a pan, add oil and fry ground onion and ginger garlic paste until onion turns into golden brown. Then add yogurt mixture and fry well. Then add prepared kofte and cook on low heat until kofte are done well. Yummy nargasi kofte are ready to serve.
