Lahori Fried Fish
Ingredients:
Mackerel Fish – 1 kg
Asafoetida powder – ½ tsp
Tamarind pulp – ½ cup
Gram flour – ½ cup
Carom seeds – 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Red crushed chilli – 2 tsp
Method:
Apply salt on fish for 1 hour, then clean and wash fish slices, then take a bowl, add fish slices, tamarind pulp, coral seeds, asafoetida, red chilli, salt, turmeric powder, fenugreek seeds, gram flour and ginger garlic paste. Mix well and leave for 1 hour. Then fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.
