Chicken Boneless Handi Recipe

Chicken Boneless Handi recipe is a popular and delicious food recipe in Pakistani restaurants. Boneless chicken is used to call Murgh handi also. Some Indian spices are used to make this recipe spicy and tasteful (lazeez). This is a family recipe, read in Urdu and English, enjoy it with your family and friends.

Ingredients for onion mixture:

  1. Onion – 250gm or 2 bog size
  2. Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  3. Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  4. Chopped garlic – 1 tbsp
  5. White pepper – ½ tsp
  6. Salt – 1 tsp
  7. Green cardamoms – 3
  8. Tomato – 2
  9. Butter – 6 tbsp
  10. Green chillies – 3
  11. Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp
  12. Spring onion – 2 tbsp
  13. Desiccated coconut – 1 tbsp
  14. Crushed almond – 10
  15. Cream – 2 tbsp

Method:

  • Take a pan, add onion, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garlic, white pepper, green cardamoms and 2 cups of water, cook until onion is done.
  • Then let it cool for 5 minutes, then add in blender along 2 tomato and 2 tbsp of butter, blend well.
  • Then take a pot, heat up and add 4 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp oil, then add onion mixture and fry well until ghee comes up.
  • Then add cooked chicken mixture, chopped fresh coriander, coconut, almond, cream, green chillies and spring onion, mix and cook on dum for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot with tandori naan.

Ingredients for chicken:

  1. Boneless chicken – ½ kg cut in cubes
  2. Oil – ¼ cup
  3. Chopped garlic – 2 tbsp
  4. Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  5. Blended tomato – 2
  6. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  7. Crushed red chilli – 1 tsp
  8. Yogurt – ½ cup
  9. Salt – 1 tsp
  10. Chilli sauce – 2 tbsp
  11. Soya sauce – 1 tbsp
  12. Worcestershire sauce – 1 tbsp
  13. White pepper – ¼ tsp
  14. Fried crushed cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  15. Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
  16. Orange food colour – ¼ tsp

Method:

  • Take a pan, add oil and fry garlic and 1 tbsp cumin seeds until light pink.
  • Then add blended tomato, red chilli powder, crushed red chilli, yogurt, salt, chilli sauce,
  • Soya sauce, Worcestershire sauce, white pepper, fried cumin seeds, garam masala powder and food colour, mix and fry well.
  • Then add chicken and let it cook well.
