How to Make Mazedar Dahi Kachori in Urdu – English

Mazedar Dahi kachori, actually came from the north, this yummy and filling snack found in the good old streets of Bombay. It’s a challenge to take bite into this king-sized snack. But still you will love to eat it.

Ingredients for kachori dough:

  1. Flour – 2 cups
  2. Salt – ½ tsp
  3. Semolina – 1 cup
  4. Gram flour – 1 cup
  5. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  6. Oil – for frying

Add salt, semolina, gram flour and red chili in flour, mix and a make little bit of hard dough. Then divide into small parts, make balls and roll like puri. Then fry in oil until golden and crispy. Make small holes in the center of kachori and prepare filling to serve.

Ingredients for filling:

  1. Boiled chickpeas – 1 cup
  2. Moong dal with skin – ½ cup (soaked overnight then boils)
  3. Amchoor powder – 1 tsp
  4. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  5. Salt – ½ tsp
  6. Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
  7. Fried crushed cumin seeds – ½ tsp

Take a bowl, add chickpeas, moong dal, amchoor powder, red chili powder, salt, garam masala and cumin seeds, mix well. Other side in 2 cups of yogurt, add 2 tbsp of sugar and ½ tsp salt, mix well.
Prepare to serve:
Arrange fried kachori in a serving plate, then fill with mix masala, then pour yogurt, then imli chutney (tamarind sauce), then sprinkle sev and serve.
