How to Make Sandal ka Sharbat: English – Urdu Recipe

Sharbat Sandal


Sharbat Sandal is prepared from the sandal wood. Refreshing and invigorating tonic for heart and liver.  It is useful for curing Anxiety, Tachycardia, an abnormally rapid beating of the heart, and feeling of uneasiness. It relieves disorders of stomach and liver, burning sensation of hands and feet, acute thirst and the effects of sun-stroke.

Sandal Ka Sharbat


  1. Sandal wood – 100gm
  2. Sugar – 500gm
  3. Water – 250ml
  4. Glucose syrup – 1 tsp


Boil sandal in water for 15 minutes. Then add glucose syrup and sugar, mix and cook for 15 minutes more. Then strain and fill bottle. Keep in fridge. Pour 25 ml Sharbat Sandal concentrated into one glass of chilled water and shake well before drinking. Sharbat Sandal can be taken at any time of the day or night when desired, mixed with water.
