How to Make Sooji(Semolina) Halwa


Semolina (sooji) – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/3 cup
Ghee or butter – 1/3 cup
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Eggs – 2
Milk – according to need
Orange food colour – few drops
Dry fruits – according to need
Take a wok and put some ghee or butter of 1/3 cup. Heat it up and add semolina and cardamoms powder and fry well, then take it off the heat, add sugar and mix well. Let it cool down for a few minutes, then add milk and water and mix it well. Water and milk should be enough to completely drown the semolina. Fry until the water dries. Then add the remaining butter and two lightly-beaten eggs and fry until the butter separates from the mixture. Then garnish with dry fruits and silver paper and serve.
