How to Make Tandoori Mutton Roast in Urdu – English

Tandoori Mutton Roast

Delicious tandoori mutton roast is easy to make, just marinate the mutton, place the mutton on oven tray and cook it in oven.

Ingredients:

  1. Mutton – 1kg (preferably chops)
  2. White cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  3. Carom seeds – 1 tsp
  4. Crushed black pepper – 1 tsp
  5. Red chili powder – 2 tbsp
  6. Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  7. Kachri powder – 1 tbsp
  8. Ginger garlic powder – 2 tbsp
  9. Salt – to taste
  10. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  11. Oil – 4 tbsp
  12. Hung yogurt – 2 cup

Method:

Take a bowl, add all above ingredients in yogurt except oil, mix well and marinade mutton for 6 to 7 hours. Then place on greased oven tray, pour oil and cover with foil. Bake in preheated oven on 180 C for 30 to 35 minutes. When mutton is half done, remove foil and bake until done. Serve with chatpati makai ki roti (cornmeal chapatti) and fresh salad.
