How to Make Wedding Biryani

How to Make Wedding Biryani. Some time we would like to eat special occasion foods, like dhaba style or wedding style. For that reason we don’t need to go to weddings for special type of biryani; we can cook at home with very simple and with an easy method.

Ingredients:

  1. Mutton – 1 kg
  2. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  3. Salt – to taste
  4. Clove – 3
  5. Oil – ½ cup
  6. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  7. Black pepper – 6
  8. Cinnamon sticks – 1
  9. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  10. Red chili powder – 2 tsp
  11. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  12. Rice – ½ kg
  13. Green chilies – 5
  14. Black cumin seeds – ½ tsp
  15. Bay leaf – 1

Method:

  • Take a pan, add mutton, clove, turmeric powder, black pepper, cinnamon stick, green chili, salt, red chili powder, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, coriander power and 4 glass of water.
  • Mix well and cook until mutton is done and ½ glass of water left.
  • Another pan boils rice with bay leaf, salt and black cumin seeds.

Ingredients for layers:

  1. Lemon – 1 cut in slices
  2. Green cardamom powder – ½ tsp
  3. Nutmeg, mace powder – ½ tsp
  4. Mint – ¼ bunch
  5. Fresh coriander – ½ bunch
  6. Tomato – 2 sliced
  7. Dry plums – 6
  8. Green chilies – 4
  9. Fried brown onion – 1 cup
  10. Orange food color – few drops
  11. Kewra water – 1 tsp
  12. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  13. Yogurt – ½ cup

In a bowl, add yogurt, kewra water, yellow food color, green cardamom powder, nutmeg, mace and garam masala power, mix well.

Method:

  • Take a pan, add ¼ cup of oil, then spread some boiled rice, then mutton, then lemon slices, soaked dry plums, fresh coriander, mint, tomato slice, green chili, yogurt, fried onion, ¼ cup of oil and boiled rice, then on top spread fried onion, cover and put on dum for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Serve with raita and salad.
