You always tried chicken drumsticks as a snack, but try these imli drumsticks with masala rice, it will give you unique idea and different taste.

 

Spicy Drumsticks English – Urdu Recipe

Ingredients for drumsticks:

  1. Chicken drumsticks – 12
  2. Salt – to taste
  3. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  4. Tamarind pulp – 1/2 cup
  5. Chaat masala – 1 tbsp
  6. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  7. Garam masala powder – 1/2 tbsp

Method:

  • Take a pan, add drumsticks, salt and turmeric powder, cook until start boiling, then strain water.
  •  Now take a bowl, add tamarind pulp, chaat masala, salt, ginger garlic paste and garam masala powder, mix and apply on drumsticks, leave for 15 to 20 minutes.
  •  Now cook in a pan, or grill with some oil.
  • Apply aluminium foil on the back of drumsticks.

Ingredients for Masala Rice:

  1. Rice – 1 kg
  2. Oil – 3 tbsp
  3. Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  4. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
  5. Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  6. Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  7. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  8. Chaat masala – 1 tsp
  9. Nutmeg powder – 1/2 tsp
  10. Mace powder – 1/2 tsp
  11. Chicken cubes – 1
  12. Spring onion – for garnishing

Method:

  • Take a pan, add water, red chili, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, chaat masala, nutmeg, mace powder and salt, cook until it starts boiling.
  •  Then add soaked rice and boil rice until tender, then strain rice.
  • Now in a separate pan, add oil and chicken cubes, heat up and add boiled rice, mix and put on dum for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Garnish with chicken drumsticks and spring onion.
