How to Cook Murgh Makhni Recipe: English – Urdu

Ingredients:

  1. Boiled rice – 1/2 kg
  2. Chicken – 1/2 kg
  3. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  4. Peas – 1 cup
  5. Potato – 2
  6. Carrots – 2
  7. Green chili – 6
  8. Butter – 50 gm
  9. Raisins – 100 gm
  10. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp
  11. Whole black pepper – 1 tsp
  12. Crushed black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  13. Oil – 4 tbsp
  14. Salt – to taste
How to Cook Murgh Do Piyaza: English – Urdu Recipe

Method:

  • Take a pan, heat up 3 tbsp oil, then add chicken, cumin seeds, black pepper, salt, ginger garlic paste 1 tsp and fry well.
  • Then add water and cook until chicken is tender, put aside.
  • Boil rice with salt (boil half tender).
  • Take another pan, heat up oil and add vegetables along with 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp and salt, fry well.
  • Then add 1 cup water and cook until vegetables are half tender.
  • Then add cooked chicken along with stock, add half boiled rice and put on dum for 20 minutes.
  • Serve with raita and salad.
