Natural Treatment for Asthma
Due to cold weather, it can become even more difficult for asthma patients to breathe properly. Regular consumption of green tea could be used in relieving bronchial asthma and difficulty in breathing due to the smooth muscle relaxant effect of caffeine.
In green tea, we have a chemical Theophylline, which relaxes the smooth muscles supporting the bronchial tubes, reducing the severity of asthma and bronchitis. Drinking green tea provides theophylline in doses large enough to affect asthma. It can also be used to help with flu, a cough or weight loss, as well as pimples that may occur due to the cold.
