Ingredients:

  1. Leg of lamb – 1
  2. Fresh coriander – ½ bunches
  3. Ginger garlic paste – 3 tbsp
  4. Salt – to taste
  5. Papaya paste – 4 tbsp
  6. Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
  7. Garam masala powder – 1 tbsp
  8. Yogurt – 250g
  9. Chat masala – 1 tbsp
  10. Mango powder – 1 tbsp
  11. Crushed cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  12. Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
  13. Red crushed chilli – 1 tbsp
  14. Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
  15. Oil – for frying

Method:

  • Take a leg of a lamb, wash it and dry it properly, then make deep cuts, apply salt, ginger garlic paste and papaya paste and leave for at least half an hour.
  • Now take a wok and put oil and heat it up, put marinated leg in hot oil just to give it a brown colour.
  • Make sure you don’t put the leg in the oil, just hold with a big strainer.
  • Now take it out from oil and put it aside, now mix all ingredients in yogurt and apply on leg all around.
  • Now put 1 ½ jug of water in steamer and steam leg for 25 minutes and then serve.
