Sev vermicelli pudding is a dish made from vermicelli mixed with milk and other ingredients such as eggs and nuts. Different variants are used for either desserts or dinners. The vermicelli pudding is used as a basis for cream dessert. There are many different variants of this dessert but the basis is the same.

Saffron Vermicelli: English – Urdu Recipe

Ingredients;

  1. Vermicelli – 1 1/2 cup
  2. Ghee – 2 tbsp
  3. Green cardamoms – 2 to 3
  4. Milk – 5 cups
  5. Sugar – 3/4 cup
  6. Egg – 4 lightly beaten
  7. Saffron – 1 pinch
  8. Chopped almonds and pistachio – 3 tbsp

Method:

  • In a pan, add ghee along with green cardamoms and sev (crushed with hands) for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Then add milk, sugar and cook until sugar dissolves and sev are tender.
  • Then take it of off the flame, let it cool down and add lightly beaten eggs and saffron, mix it well.
  • Pour this mixture in oven dish, garnish with chopped almond and pistachio and bake in preheated oven on 180 for 35 minutes.Sev Vermicelli Pudding
