Spicy Roast Chicken

Ingredients:

  1. Whole chicken – 1 1/2 kg
  2. Salt – 1 tsp
  3. Crushed black pepper – 1 tsp
  4. Tandoori color – 1 pinch
  5. Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  6. Chilli garlic sauce – 2 tbsp
  7. Ketchup – 2 tbsp
  8. Mix herbs – 1 tsp
  9. Mustard powder or mustard paste – 1 tsp
  10. Ginger garlic – 2 tsp
  11. BBQ sauce – 2 tbsp
  12. Oil – 1/4 cup
  13. Onion – 1 chopped
  14. Mix vegetables – 1 cup
  15. Salad leaves – 2-3
  16. French fries – 1 packet

Method:

  • Clean and wash whole chicken, then tie with thread or rubber band.
  • Now prick with fork and apply, salt, black pepper, tandoori color, lemon juice, chili garlic sauce, mixed herbs, mustard paste, bbq sauce and ginger garlic paste, inside and outside.
  • Now leave for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Then take a wok, add oil and saute onion, add marinated chicken with all spices, cover and cook on low heat until tender.
  • Fry well.
  • Then serve with  boiled or steamed vegetables, onion rings, salad leaves and french fries.

Gajar Ka Halwa

Ingredients:

  1. Carrots – 3 kg
  2. Khoya – 1/2 kg
  3. Desi ghee – 125 gm
  4. Sugar – 375 gm
  5. Almond Pistachio – 1 cup
  6. Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
  7. Almonds and pistachio – 1 cup
  8. Silver paper – 2
  9. Boiled eggs – 2

Method:

  • Take a pan, add grated carrots and sugar, cover and let it cook on low heat until carrots soften and water dries.
  • Then take a separate pan, add ghee and cardamom, fry for 5 seconds, then add in cooked carrots and fry well.
  • Then add khoya and cover it with halwa.
  • Then dish out and garnish with dry nuts, silver paper and boiled eggs.
  • Serve hot.

Khoya

Ingredients:

  1. Water – 1/2 cup
  2. Ghee – 1/2 cup
  3. Dry milk powder – 2 cups

Method:

  • Take a pan, add water and ghee, heat up and add milk powder and mix well.
  • Khoya is ready to use.
