Spicy Shami Kabab Recipe

Reshmi Kabab Recipe: English – Urdu

Ingredients:

  1. Bengal gram – 250 gm
  2. Mince – ½ kg
  3. Onions – 2 medium
  4. Eggs – 2
  5. Large green chillies – 3 to 4
  6. Dry red pepper – 6 to 8
  7. Fresh coriander – ¼ bunch
  8. Mint -1/4 bunch
  9. Oil – ¼ cup
  10. Garlic cloves – 5
  11. Chopped ginger – 2 tbsp
  12. Black pepper – ½ tsp
  13. Green cardamom – 4
  14. Big cardamom – 2
  15. Cinnamon – 1 stick
  16. Dry red chilli – big 4 or small 15
  17. Star anise – 1
  18. Bay leaf – 1
  19. Cloves – 12
  20. Salt – to taste
Dahi Dhowaan Kebab Karahi: English – Urdu Recipe

Method:

  • Firstly, Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in one pan, chop ginger and garlic and roast it for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Then add all spice, dry red pepper, and fry for 1 minute, then add 1 sliced onion and soaked Bengal gram roast it for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Now add 1 cup water and salt, keep on simmer.
  • Check after 15 to 20 minutes. When lentil is tendered, cook on high flame and dry water well.
  • Now take out, grind in chopper, take out in bowl, add 1 onion slice, coriander and mint, green chilies, mix it and make round kebabs.
  • Now beat eggs. Heat oil in one pan, dip kebabs in eggs and shallow fry it.
  • Spicy shami kabab is ready.
