How to Make Rabri Milk: English – Urdu Recipe

Ingredients for Rasmalai Balls:

  1. Milk – 1 liter
  2. Lemon juice – as required
  3. Plain flour – 1/2 tbsp mix in 2 to 3 tbsp of water
  4. Green cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
  5. Sugar – 1 cup

Method:

  • Take a pan, add milk and bring to boil over high heat then add lemon juice.
  • Take it off of the flame and set a side for 2 minutes.
  • Stir gently then add some more lemon until milk is curdle properly.
  • Then add some cold water to reduce the temperature of mixture.
  • Now strain this curdled milk with muslin cloth and wash under runinng water to remove lemon juice (along with cloth).
  • Now place strained milk mixture like cottage cheese on work top, and rub gently with palm of hand.
  • Make small balls with light hands, press and put a side.
  • Then add 1 cup sugar, 3 cups of water, cook until sugar dissolves and starts boiling.
  • Then add some flour and water mixture, now add balls, cover and bring to boil. Balls will puff up.
  • Cook for 5 minutes. Take it out from syrup and put it in the prepared rabri milk.
  • Garnish with chopped pistachio and serve.
How to Make Rasmalai

Rabri milk ingredients:

  1. Milk – 1 1/2 liter
  2. Sugar – 1/2 cup
  3. Saffron – 1 pinch
  4. Chopped pistachio – as required

Method:

  • Add milk in another pan, bring to boil until 1 liter left.
  • Then add sugar, saffron and let it cook for 10 minutes.
  • Then add cardamom powder and keep a side.
