How to Make Achari Aloo (Pickled Potato): English – Urdu

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • Salt, to taste
  • ¾ tsp powdered sugar
  • 1 cup warm water, or as needed
  • Ghee, for layering and cooking
  • Dry flour, for layering

Keto Chilli Garlic Paratha

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix the wheat flour, salt, and powdered sugar.
  2. Gradually add warm water and knead into a smooth, soft dough.
  3. Cover and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 3 equal portions.
  5. Take one portion and roll it out into a thin circle.
  6. Apply a layer of ghee and sprinkle some dry flour evenly over it.
  7. Fold the dough inward from both sides, fold it again, and cut it into 2 strips.
  8. Join the two strips together and roll them into a wheel shape, as shown in the video.
  9. Let the shaped dough rest for another 10 minutes.
  10. Using light hands, gently roll it out, making sure not to press too hard so the layers remain intact.
  11. Heat a skillet or tawa and cook the paratha on both sides with ghee until golden, crispy, and beautifully layered.
