Mong Masoor Masalay Dar Daal
Ingredients:
- Mong daal β 1 cup
- Masoor daal β 1 cup
- Oil β 1/3 cup
- Onion β 1 thinly sliced
- Ginger garlic paste β 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds β 1 tsp
- Curry leaves β 10
- Coriander powder β 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder β 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder β 2 tsp
- Chopped tomato β 1
- Green chilli β 3
- Salt β to taste
- Fresh coriander β 4 tbsp
- Garam masala powder β 1 tsp
Method:
Take a pan, add both dal and cook until it is done. Then take a frying pan, add oil, fry onion until light golden. Then add ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds, curry leaves, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli, garam masala powder, tomato, green chilli and fresh coriander, mix, fry and pour in cooked dal. Then cook for 5 more minutes. Serve with chapattis or boil rice.
