

How to make Carrot Cake
Ingredients:
- Flour – 1 ½ cup
- Eggs – 3
- Baking powder – 2 ½ tsp
- Carrots – 2 medium (grated)
- Nuts – ¾ cup
- Oil – 1 cup
- Brown sugar – 1 ¼ cup
- Salt – 1 pinch
- Soda – 1 tsp
- Cinnamon powder – 2 tsp
Method:
- Take a bowl and put brown sugar, eggs, salt and oil and mix well with a spoon.
- Then take another bowl and put flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon powder and mix well, and mix it with the egg mixture with a spoon, then with an electric mixer.
- Now add nuts and grated carrots and mix with spoon.
- Put the mixture in a cake pan and bake in preheated oven on gas mark 4, 180ºC, 350ºF for 42 to 45 minutes.
- When it’s done baking, let it cool down before applying the icing.
Icing for cake:
- Icing sugar – 1 ½ cup
- Butter – as required
- Milk – as required
- Take a bowl and mix all 3 things.
- Make sure you put milk gradually, check consistency for icing.
- Apply on cake and enjoy.
