Quick and Easy Mutton Korma
Ingredients:
- Mutton – 1 kg
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Star anise – 1
- Black pepper – 8 to 10
- Green cardamom – 5
- Black cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Onion medium – 3 sliced
- Salt – to taste
- Oil or ghee – 1/3 cup
- Potato – 4
- Yogurt – 250gm
- Nutmeg powder, mace powder and green cardamom powder – 1 tsp
- Kewra – 1 tsp
Method:
- Take a pan, fry onion until golden brown, take out onion from the oil and in same oil, add ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, red chilli powder, star anise, black pepper, green cardamoms and black cumin seeds, mix and fry well along with the help of hot water.
- Then add mutton and salt, mix and fry well.
- Now add fried crushed onion and yogurt, mix well. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Then add potato, some water, cover and let it cook.
- When it’s done, add nutmeg, mace and cardamom powder and kewra, mix and cook on dum for 5 minutes.
- Serve with naan or kulcha.
