Yummy Shahi Haleem Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Boneless meat – 2 kg
  2. Onion – 1 medium
  3. Ginger garlic paste:  2 tbsp
  4. Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
  5. Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
  6. Salt – 2 tsp
  7. Coriander powder – 3 tbsp
  8. Oil – 2 cup
  9. Yogurt – 1 cup
  10. Garam masala – 1 tsp
  11. Green chillies paste – 1 tbsp
  12. Ground mint leaves – 1 tbsp
  13. Wheat – 1 cup
  14. Barley – 1 cup
  15. Channa dal – ½ cup
  16. Moong – ¼ cup
  17. Masoor – ¼ cup
  18. Arahar – ¼ cup
  19. Rice – ½ cup

Cooking method:

  • Soak wheat & barley overnight and boil with 1tsp chilli and turmeric powder make it tender and grind it.
  • Add all lentils and rice with enough water to cook and cook till tender and grind.
  • Heat oil, fry onion, adds all masala, yogurt, roast for a while then add meat.
  • Add water and cook till tender.
  • Add lentils and wheat mixture.
  • Grind it in a mixer or grind manually.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Add garam masala to this.
  • Serve with fried onion strips, lemon, fresh coriander, and chopped ginger and chat masala.
