Yummy Shahi Haleem Recipe
Ingredients:
- Boneless meat – 2 kg
- Onion – 1 medium
- Ginger garlic paste: 2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt – 2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 3 tbsp
- Oil – 2 cup
- Yogurt – 1 cup
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Green chillies paste – 1 tbsp
- Ground mint leaves – 1 tbsp
- Wheat – 1 cup
- Barley – 1 cup
- Channa dal – ½ cup
- Moong – ¼ cup
- Masoor – ¼ cup
- Arahar – ¼ cup
- Rice – ½ cup
Cooking method:
- Soak wheat & barley overnight and boil with 1tsp chilli and turmeric powder make it tender and grind it.
- Add all lentils and rice with enough water to cook and cook till tender and grind.
- Heat oil, fry onion, adds all masala, yogurt, roast for a while then add meat.
- Add water and cook till tender.
- Add lentils and wheat mixture.
- Grind it in a mixer or grind manually.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Add garam masala to this.
- Serve with fried onion strips, lemon, fresh coriander, and chopped ginger and chat masala.
