Chicken tikka is a famous and one of the most demanded dish in asian countires, usually chicken tikka marinate and cooks dry in oven, grill or BBQ. But this chicken tikka gravy recipe means it has some sauce so you can serve with chapaties or naan.
Chicken Tikka Gravy Recipe
Ingredients:
- Chicken tikka pieces – 4
- Ajwain – 2 pinches
- Ketchup – 1/2 cup
- Ginger garlic paste – 3 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tbsp
- Vinegar – 1 tsp
- Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Mustard powder – 1 tsp
- Chat masala – 1 tsp
- Soy sauce – 1 tsp
- Chili sauce – 1 tbsp
- Crushed red chili – 1 tsp
- Black pepper – 1 tsp
- Onion – 1/2 fine chopped
- Green chilies – 3 fine chopped
- Orange food color – 1/4 tsp
Method:
- Apply all above ingredients on tikka slices and leave for 20 minutes.
- Then cook in 2 tbsp of oil in a pan on low heat for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Serve with tandori naan.
