I have shared many types of naan recipes on tawa, without yeast, without oven. Today I created chilli cheese tawa naan without yeast. You can cook it on tawa, which is also called a skillet, but many people don’t have a cast iron tawa. In that case, you can use an old frying pan like me or make naan in a big cooking pot like a tandoor. Do try these delicious and quick naan with any kind of curry or daal and enjoy along with lassi in this hot weather.

How to Make Degi Karahi: English – Urdu Recipe
Ingredients:
- Plain flour – 3 cups
- Sugar – 1 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda – 3/4 tsp
- Salt – 3/4 tsp
- Yogurt – 3/4 cup
- Oil – 3 tbsp
For Filling:
- Mozzarella cheese
- Fresh coriander
- Green chillies

Method for Easy Tandoori Naan:
- In a bowl, add plain flour, salt, sugar, baking soda, oil and yogurt. Mix well.
- Then add warm water and make smooth dough.
- Add a bit of oil and then cover it. Leave it for 5 minutes, then divide dough and make balls.
- Then roll them and make naan.
- Now leave the frying pan to warm up a bit and roll the dough balls.
Apply water to the other side so it sticks to the frying pan. Carefully put the naan on the frying pan and press on the sides to make it stick. - When you see bubbles starting to form, turn it the other way and turn up the heat.
- When it’s cooked from both sides, take it out.
- Apply butter and garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve hot.
