Coconut Macaroons Recipe by Shireen Anwer
Ingredients:
- Egg whites – 6
- Ground sugar – 1 1/2 cup or 12 oz
- Desiccated coconut – 2 cups or 6 oz
- Vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp
- Pink food color – few drops
Method:
- Take a pan, add egg whites, sugar, coconut, pink color and vanilla essence, cook on low flame until bubbles start in the mixture and leaves the sides of the pan.
- Take of off the flame, let it cool down for 5 minutes.
- Then scoop out mixture in greased oven tray about 1 tbsp each and bake in preheated oven on 140ºC for 35 to 40 minutes.
