Dough ingredients for layered paratha:

  1. Plain flour – 2 cups
  2. Fine semolina – 1/4 cup
  3. Instant yeast – 1/4 tsp
  4. Sugar – 1/2 tsp
  5. Salt – 1/4 tsp
  6. Baking powder – 1/4 tsp

Filling ingredients for paratha:

  1. Butter – 1 tbsp
  2. Oil – 2 tbsp
  3. Baking powder – 1/4 tsp
  4. Fine semolina

Method:

  • In a bowl, add dough ingredients and make a dough. Add enough water until the dough has a fine structure.
  • Let it rest for a while. Then divide into small portions and make balls from them.
  • Roll each ball until it is thin enough.
  • Spread the butter mixture and dry semolina on top.
  • Make cuts, then gather dough as shown in the video.
  • Fry on hot skillet until golden brown.
