Peri Peri Rice Recipe: English – Urdu

Ingredients for chicken:

  1. Whole chicken with skin on – 1
  2. Paprika powder – 1 tsp
  3. Garlic powder – 1 tsp
  4. Salt – 1 tsp

Method for marination:

  • Wash and pat dry whole chicken, make deep cuts and apply paprika powder, garlic powder and salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  • Then apply prepared sauce on the chicken, cover and leave overnight or for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Now grill or bake in a preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Apply the remaining sauce and oil during cooking.
  • Serve with peri peri rice and enjoy.

Ingredients for the sauce:

  1. Onion – 1
  2. Fresh red chilies – 2
  3. Garlic – 5 cloves
  4. Ginger – 1 inch slice
  5. Red chili flakes – 1 tbsp
  6. Red capsicum – 1
  7. Oil – 2 tbsp
  8. Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  9. Fresh coriander – 1/4 bunch
  10. Salt – to taste

Prepare Peri Peri Sauce:

  • To make the peri-peri sauce, add all the above-mentioned ingredients in a blender and blend well.
