Acne scars, whether mild or severe, are quite bad especially when in adolescence and early adulthood.

Acne is considered a temporary illness, except to the extent that because of hormonal imbalances or stress, they stay even in adulthood, but it depends on how intense it was before. Acne leaves marks, but although defined as a ” permanent” change in the skin, acne scars can gradually becleared with home remedies for getting rid of acne scars.

Home Remedies for Getting Rid of Acne Scars

Lemon Juice for acne

Lemon:

Take a medium sized lemon and cut it in half, squeeze the juice into a bowl and mix the lemon juice with a little water , moisten a soft cloth or gauze in the liquid lemon until it is soaked, drain the excess water to make it damp cloth , use the cloth as a compress. Apply on affected area and leave on the skin for several minutes. You can do this process daily.

oatmeal and lemon for acne

Oatmeal and Lemon:

Mix 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and juice of 1 squeezed lemon. Form a paste and apply on the skin. First, apply friction, making a circular motion to remove dead cells and then apply the remaining mixture as a mask. Leave on the skin 10 to 20 minutes depending on the sensitivity of the skin, as it produces a peeling or exfoliation. It also decreases the spots.

pineapple for acne

Pineapple:

In addition to eating fresh fruit to provide vitamin C and stimulate the production of collagen, fruits can also produce a gentle acid exfoliation. Make a paste with pineapple or pineapple juice, apply it on face Leave for 10-15 minutes and then rinse. Since the pineapple contains ascorbic acid, it gives an effect of the lighting on the face, and helps fade acne marks.

Aloe Vera for Acne

Aloe Vera:

Leaves pulp is one of the plant extracts which has more regenerative properties. It’s used to treat scars, stretch marks, burns, etc. You can use it several times a day. Leave on your skin for 20 to 30 minutes and gradually, your damaged areas will become smoother.

Baking soda for Acne

Baking soda:

It has an exfoliating effect that improves the texture of mild scars. Apply it to damp face, wait a few seconds and wash the area with warm water. Do not use this remedy too much if you have sensitive skin.

honey for acne

Honey:

Regenerates and softens the skin, restoring elasticity to tissues. You can use it alone or mixed with an egg yolk (if your skin is very oily). Leave on for 20 minutes and wash your face using a sponge.

sandalwood for acne

Sandalwood powder or Leaves:

In a bowl a few leaves or powder of sandalwood, mix with turmeric and few drops of rose water. Spread it on your skin and leave it on for the night. Remove it the next morning with fresh water.

tomato for acne

Tomato:

It’s rich in beta carotene which has both exfoliating properties. You can cut a few slices and put them on your face and leave for 10 minutes. Another possibility is to develop a kind of natural tonic using the juice of half a tomato and a cucumber. Blend both ingredients and soak a cotton pad in the resulting mixture. Apply it to the affected area and leave it on for half an hour. Then rinse your face well.

In addition to the above tips, do not forget to watch your diet to nourish your skin from the inside, drink at least two liters of water a day and (very important) to use a sun protection cream to prevent scars.
