Lahori chana chaat by Shireen Anwer is a tasty and delicious recipe that is perfect for Ramadan, so maybe try it this year for a wonderful Iftar!

 

Ingredients:

  1. Boiled chickepeas – 250gm
  2. Boiled potato – 1 cup cut in cubes
  3. Chopped green chilies – 4
  4. Chopped onion – 1/2 cup
  5. Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  6. Sugar – 1 tbsp
  7. Fried crushed cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  8. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  9. Red crushed chili – 1 tsp
  10. Chaat masala – 1 tsp
  11. Salt – 1 tsp
  12. Chopped tomato – 1
  13. Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp chopped
  14. Tamarind sauce – 1/2 cup
  15. Crushed papdi – 1 cup

Method:

  • Take a bowl, add chicpeas, potato, green chilies, onion, lemon juice, sugar, cumin seeds, red chili powder, red crushed chili, chaat masala, salt, tomato and fresh coriander, mix well.
  • Now garnish with fresh coriander, tamarind sauce and papdi and serve.
