Orange Cheesecake Recipe by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients for Crust:

  1. Digestive biscuits – 2 cups (make crumbs)
  2. Butter, melted – 3 tbsp
  • Mix biscuit crumbs in melted butter and press into your preferred pan, and bake in preheat oven to 350 degrees F, Gas Mark 4, 180C  for 10 minutes.
  • Then set aside.

Ingredients for filling Cheesecake:

  1. Curd cheese – ½ cup (1/2 cup yogurt hang in muslin clothe for whole night)
  2. Sugar – ¾ cup
  3. Eggs whites – 2
  4. Whipped cream – 200 gm
  5. Gelatin powder – 1 ½ tbsp
  6. Fresh orange juice – ½ cup
  7. Orange flavour jelly powder – 1 packet

Method:

  • Take a pan, put orange juice and gelatin powder, mix well and put on heat for 30 seconds and remove.
  • Beat egg whites until stiff.
  • Take another bowl add curd cheese and sugar, beat with beater, during beating add gelatine mixture and dry jelly powder, beat well.
  • Then add whipped cream, beat on low speed.
  • Then add egg whites and mix with spatula.
  • Pour batter into prepared crust, and then cover and put in the fridge to chill.
  • Once fully chilled, it is ready to serve.
  • Try this yummy cake, you will love it.
