Yummy Oreo Cake Recipe
Try this delightfully decadent Yummy Oreo Cake Recipe, sandwich-cookie cake pair’s vanilla pudding and crushed chocolate cookie crumbs for a smooth and creamy take on this classic kids favorite.
Ingredients:
- 1 (20 ounce) package chocolate sandwich cookies, such as Oreo (TM) cookies
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 (16 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
Method:
- Crush cookies into bite size pieces. Reserve 1 cup for top.
- Melt butter and mix with rest of cookies.
- Press into 9×13 pan. Put in freezer for 5 minutes.
- Blend 1/2 of the whipped topping, all of the cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- Spread over crust and place cake back in freezer.
- Prepare instant pudding with the milk according to package directions then spread over top of cake.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping on top of the pudding then sprinkle with the remaining cookies. Keep cake refrigerated.

Vanilla pudding
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2½ cups milk
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions:
- Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt; gradually blend in milk.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mixture thickens.
- Cook 2 or 3 minutes more. Add vanilla.
- Pour into 5 or 6 sherbets; chill. Or pour into individual moulds, rinsed with cold water; chill until firm. Unmold.
