Potato Dough Minced Pie

Today I made potato dough!! Sounds amazing, doesn’t it? Yes, it’s an amazing and super delicious recipe. I filled the dough with minced meat, but you can stuff it with any kind of vegetable or meat of your choice. Once you try this recipe, the whole family will ask you to make it every day. For these potato minced pies, you don’t need an oven. Just shallow fry them in a pan and the amazing thing is that the dough does not absorb oil! You can safely fry it in a large amount of oil.

Ingredients:
- Boiled Potatoes – 350 gm
- Potato stock – 1 cup
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Egg – 1
- Yeast – 1 tbsp
- Flour – 500 gm
- Oil – 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Filling:
- Minced meat – 300 gm
- Salt – 3/4 tsp
- Curry powder – 1/2 tsp
- Paprika powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
- Fresh coriander – 1/4 bunch chopped
- Green chillies – 1 tbsp chopped
- Onion – 3 tbsp minced
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Boiling water – 2 to 3 tbsp
- Vegetable oil for frying

Method to Prepare potato dough minced pie:
- Boil the potatoes, then mash them along with warm stock from the potatoes. Add salt, sugar, egg and yeast. Mix it well.
- Add flour and knead a soft dough. Pour oil and set aside for about 1 hour, until it rises.
- In a separate bowl, add minced meat, all spices, coriander, green chillies and onions. Mix with the help of boiling water. Set aside until the dough is ready.
- Once the dough has risen, divide it into 11 pieces.
- Flatten the dough, stuff with prepared minced meat and shallow fry in medium hot oil until it turns golden brown.
