SINDHI KOKI (سندھی کوکی)RECIPE A popular dish from Sindhi cuisine, SINDHI KOKI (سندھی کوکی) is prepared with Besan as the main ingredient. Onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds are added along with few other ingredients to make this filling breakfast/ dinner.

Traditionally, SINDHI KOKI (سندھی کوکی) is had for Breakfast with Curd (دہی) and Mango 🥭 (آم) aur (اور) Chane Ka Achaar (چینے کا اچار). (آم🥭 اور چینے کا اچار)

Seekh Kebab Stuffed Crust Pizza in Urdu – English

INGREDIENTS:-

  1. Gram Flour (بیسن) – 2 cups
  2. Oil🛢(تیل) – As Needed (I USED 6 TBSP(1/4 CUP + 2 TBSP) (1/4 CUP EQUALS TO 4 TBSP + 2 TBSP))
  3. Green Pepper🌶 (ہری مرچ) – 2 tsp (CRUSHED)
  4. Mint (پودینہ) – 2 tbsp (CHOPPED)
  5. Fresh Cilantro (تازہ ہرا دھنیہ) – 6 tbsp (CHOPPED) (1/4 CUP + 2 TBSP) (1/4 CUP EQUALS TO 4 TBSP + 2 TBSP)
  6. Onion🌰🧅 (کچی پیاز) – 1 cup (CHOPPED)
  7. Water💧(پانی) – As Needed (I USED 1.5 TBSP)

SPICES:-

  1. Dry Fenugreek (سوکھی میتھی) – 2 tsp
  2. Pomegranate Powder (انار دانہ کا پاوڈر) – 1 tsp
    (IF YOU DON’T HAVE POMEGRANATE POWDER (انار دانہ کا پاوڈر) YOU CAN USE MANGO🥭POWDER (آم چور کا پاوڈر)) (اگر آپ کے پاس انار دانہ کا پاوڈر نہیں ہے تو آپ آم چور کا پاوڈر بھی استعمال کر سکتے ہیں)
  3. Red Chili Powder (لال مرچ کا پاوڈر) – 1 tsp
  4. Cumin Seeds (ثابت زیرہ) -1 tsp
  5. Carrom Seeds (اجوائن) – 1/2 tsp
  6. Turmeric Powder (ہلدی کا پاوڈر) – 1/4 tsp
  7. Salt🧂(نمک) – 1 tsp

INSTRUCTIONS:-

  • Take a bowl🥣. Add gram flour (بیسن), then add green pepper🌶 (ہری مرچ), then add mint (پودینہ), fresh cilantro (تازہ ہرا دھنیہ) , onion🌰🧅 (کچی پیاز), then add all the spices, add oil🛢(تیل) around 3 tbsp and mix together in gram flour (بیسن).
  • Add 2 tbsp of oil🛢(تیل) and mix together add 1 tbsp of oil🛢(تیل) and mix together. When you fold the gram flour (بیسن) with your hand and it comes together, that means that it’s perfect. If it’s falling apart, you need to add more oil🛢(تیل); add water💧(پانی) and knead the dough. Don’t knead it like a Roti🫓.
  • Put the tawa (توا) on a stove and turn the flame🔥on to MEDIUM-LOW HEAT To LOW-HEAT.
  • Roll out the portable cutting board. Cut the Zip Lock Bag from one side and lay it on top of the cutting board.
  • Add a few drops of oil🛢(تیل) on top of the Zip Lock Bag and on the rolling pin. Take a small ball and roll out like a puri🫓. (This is on a thick side. You can make this according to what size you like). Cook for 10 minutes.
  • After Cooking For 10 Minutes, take it out from the tawa (توا). Do the same  with the rest of the mixture.
  • Serve it with Yogurt (دہی), Pickle (اچار), Chutney (چٹنی), Tea🍵 (چائے) OR As Is (ایسے بھی کھا سکتے ہیں)
