Turai ki sabzi recipe, also known as zucchini or ridge gourd is a healthy and very simple vegetable dish. We normally cook it in very little oil with this quick and easy method.
Turai Ki Sabzi Recipe
Turai aur Aloo Recipe: Urdu – English
Ingredients:
- Tauri (zucchini) – 1 1/2 cup
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Onions – 1/2 cup
- Garlic – 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped tomato – 1 medium
- Salt – to taste
- Dry coriander seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli flakes – 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Ginger flakes – 1 tsp
- Fresh coriander – 1 tbsp
Mix Sabzi Pakora
Method:
- Take a pan. Heat up oil and saute chopped onions.
- Then add chopped garlic and cumin seeds, and stir fry.
- Add 1 medium chopped tomato, salt to taste, crushed dry coriander seeds, chilli flakes, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
- Fry well until the tomato turns soft.
- Add turai (zucchini), along with ginger flakes.
- Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
- Turai will be cooked within its own moisture. You don’t need to add water.
- Healthy and tasty turai ki sabzi is ready to serve with paratha or chapatti.
- Garnish with fresh coriander.
