Turai ki Sabzi Recipe

Turai ki sabzi recipe, also known as zucchini or ridge gourd is a healthy and very simple vegetable dish. We normally cook it in very little oil with this quick and easy method.

Turai Ki Sabzi Recipe

Turai aur Aloo Recipe: Urdu – English

Ingredients:

  1. Tauri (zucchini) – 1 1/2 cup
  2. Oil – 2 tbsp
  3. Onions – 1/2 cup
  4. Garlic – 1 tsp
  5. Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  6. Chopped tomato – 1 medium
  7. Salt – to taste
  8. Dry coriander seeds – 1/2 tsp
  9. Red chilli flakes – 1 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  12. Ginger flakes – 1 tsp
  13. Fresh coriander – 1 tbsp

Mix Sabzi Pakora

Method:

  • Take a pan. Heat up oil and saute chopped onions.
  • Then add chopped garlic and cumin seeds, and stir fry.
  • Add 1 medium chopped tomato, salt to taste, crushed dry coriander seeds, chilli flakes, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
  • Fry well until the tomato turns soft.
  • Add turai (zucchini), along with ginger flakes.
  • Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  • Turai will be cooked within its own moisture. You don’t need to add water.
  • Healthy and tasty turai ki sabzi is ready to serve with paratha or chapatti.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander.
