Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cake

Ingredients:

  1. Flour – 1 Β½ cup
  2. Eggs – 2
  3. Sugar – ΒΎ cup
  4. Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  5. Butter – 115g
  6. Salt – 1 pinch
  7. Baking powder – 3 tsp
  8. Milk – Β½ cup
  9. Chocolate chip – Β½ cup

Method:

  • Take a bowl, add butter and sugar and beat with electric beater.
  • Then add eggs and vanilla essence and beat until sugar and eggs beat well.
  • In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and chocolate chip. Add this flour mixture in egg mixture and mix with spoon, now add milk and mix well.
  • Now put this mixture in cake pan and bake in preheated oven on 350ΒΊF, 180ΒΊC and gas mark 4 for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • When done let it cool down.
  • Then decorate with icing and chocolate glaze.

For Icing:

  1. Butter – 3 tbsp
  2. Icing sugar – 1 ΒΌ cup
  3. Milk – 2 to 3 tsp
  4. Vanilla essence – few drops
  5. Chocolate glaze – as required

Method:

  • Take a bowl; add butter, vanilla essence and icing sugar mix with spoon.
  • Then mix with electric mixer and apply on cake.
