Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cake
Ingredients:
- Flour β 1 Β½ cup
- Eggs β 2
- Sugar β ΒΎ cup
- Vanilla essence β 1 tsp
- Butter β 115g
- Salt β 1 pinch
- Baking powder β 3 tsp
- Milk β Β½ cup
- Chocolate chip β Β½ cup
Method:
- Take a bowl, add butter and sugar and beat with electric beater.
- Then add eggs and vanilla essence and beat until sugar and eggs beat well.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and chocolate chip. Add this flour mixture in egg mixture and mix with spoon, now add milk and mix well.
- Now put this mixture in cake pan and bake in preheated oven on 350ΒΊF, 180ΒΊC and gas mark 4 for 25 to 30 minutes.
- When done let it cool down.
- Then decorate with icing and chocolate glaze.
For Icing:
- Butter β 3 tbsp
- Icing sugar β 1 ΒΌ cup
- Milk – 2 to 3 tsp
- Vanilla essence β few drops
- Chocolate glaze β as required
Method:
- Take a bowl; add butter, vanilla essence and icing sugar mix with spoon.
- Then mix with electric mixer and apply on cake.
